Cheltenham

2023

The interiors for this new townhouse were inspired by the client's connection to Japanese design and their love of cooking.

Polished concrete floors, venetian plaster and high end Subzero and wolf appliances surrounded by Perugian walnut joinery created a masculine aesthetic without the atmosphere being perceived as dark.

A large window framed with exposed brick columns and a window seat looking out to the Japanese pond garden allowed for that indoor-outdoor experience.

A custom niche about the television was built to house a special Japanese wood carving that would later be added.

The custom bar is a real show stopper and the hero in the living area, fabricated in Nero natural stone and smokey mirrored glass splashback, this piece is one of my favourites to date.
